Message from the Herdswoman:

Consider buying locally grown natural grassfed beef for your family.  We are what we eat, and so is our beef.  Put grassfed beef on the table for dinner; free of hormones, antibiotics, irradiation, and other conventional additives and processes designed to increase the shelf life and/or weight of conventional grainfed feedlot beef at your local chain supermarket . . . . healthy beef for a healthy family starts with buying your beef direct from the grass and beef farmer . . . . give our Grassfed Beef a try, you'll be glad you did.

". . .Grass-fed meat and dairy products have less fat and more vitamin E, beta carotene and cancer-fighting fatty acids than factory-farm products. All across the country, farmers and ranchers are returning to this ancient and healthier way of raising animals. Instead of sending them to feedlots to be fattened on grain, farmers are keeping animals home on the range. Cattle graze, lie down, chew their cud, graze a soothing cycle, repeated day after day and chickens hunt for seeds and bugs as their ancestors have for eons."     Pasture Perfect By Jo Robinson   Be sure and visit her comprehensive web site Eatwild.com
