Score of 3. Newman has small scurs, but they aren't visible and you
certainly can't eat them! This bull has never had a day
when he wasn't optimally fat, no matter the conditions, while he hasn't
been tested for Feed Efficiency (FE), he clearly is packing optimal FE
genetics via his sire's and dam's lineage. He is a very well made
bull, very balanced width from shoulder to rump, top and bottom lines
are all you could want, his head is nice and tidy, and his disposition
is awesomely friendly and easygoing. Newman is 100% grassfed, and
if Feed Efficient calves that thrive on grass are what you'd like to see
in your pastures - then you've found your bull. His pedigree
has an excellent mix of highly Feed Efficient sires with proven superior
carcass traits.
