J.West's Colonel Rocco, American Fullblood, Rocco's Video, DOB 2/18/09, BW 78 lbs, Actual Weaning weight 578 lbs on 10/16/09, for an Average Daily Gain of 2.41 lbs. -- and he and his dam accomplished this with zero grain!  This is a very growthy feed efficient bull prospect.  Pictured here on 11/15/09 at 9 months old.  This is one of the best El Presidente sired bulls we've seen, and he has an agreeable, gentle disposition as well.  UPDATERocco's weight at 10 Mos old, on 12/18/09 was 656 lbs., gaining at 2.17 lbs a day on grass hay and 3x weekly alfalfa, and with a hip height measure of 45.75 inches, making him a very nice Frame Score 5 British White bull.

Rocco also has at a minimum 5 of 8 markers for Feed Efficiency based on parent testing, and most likely he picked up one of the three single copy markers of his parents for a greater score for FE.

J.West's Sir Sawyer, 3rd Generation Purebred, 7 Months Old, DOB 5/4/09, BW 77 lbs.  This handsome young bull calf is still at his mother's side (weaned 12/6/09 at 439 lbs, daily gain 2.03, dam's weight 830 lbs).   His pedigree reflects a predominance of full English genetics combined with some of the best of USA bloodlines.
He has very nice muscling and confirmation, particularly deep and smooth top and bottom, and of course a very gentle disposition.  He's pictured above right in November, and above left at weaning on 12/6/09, really progressed in the final month or so, and his markings are nice, check out that black tail switch!  Hip height 43 inches at weaning.  Check back for a video of this nice young bull.

Note:  A 3rd Gen Purebred gives you 4th Gen replacement calves which will produce American Fullbloods.
