J.West's Tyson 31S

Tyson is 5 of 6 Stars for Tenderness with Genestar.  He has very clean and balanced lines which I expect he'll put on his calves just as his sire has done so consistently.  He has a great pedigree, his dam originating from some of the Bohaty's original breeding, and his grand sire coming from the first American Fullblood bred by Halliburton FarmsSemen is available on Tyson.

My first British White bull, very docile, and put thick, smaller calves on the ground, and from all the Genestar testing accomplished to date, it would appear he had excellent markers for Tenderness and Marbling.

Doc sold to the Tierra Blanca Creek ranch in New Mexico a few years ago, and I wish he were still here at the ranch, he is missed.  He died this past year in what sounds like a horrible bull fight, he was quite aged at that point, and it is a sad thing.  As well, the new DNA & Ultrasound testing for Tenderness and Marbling of some of Doc's offspring indicate he was as outstanding under the skin as he was in person.
